System Design

We believe that the success of any installation, however complex, is based on the end users' perception of how user friendly the system is. Whilst the depth of programming to achieve a specific function behind a single button press on a user touch screen may be quite complex, it is the end users' confidence that the button does what it expected that counts the most.

Whilst a system design itself in reality defines the requirements of, for example, a control interface, it is only through discussions with the end users as to their expectations of the system and their understanding of the full scope of features available to them within the system and its components that an intuitive interface can be designed.

To this end, before starting to design any system, we normally like to meet with the end users to discuss the full system capabilities and their individual aspirations.
