LCD Signage System

The LCD Signage System is a complete display system for use in a large building where interactive and non-interactive stylish displays are required.

LCD Signage System
LCD Signage System

It is made up of small LCD monitors for informing the building occupants of the days activities, and larger displays for room booking and conference usage. Interactive displays for providing visitors all of these and interactive building maps. Such a system is an ideal compliment to any corporate or prestigious building which needs to 'dress to impress'.

Main Features

The LCD signage system consists of three 'sub systems':

  1. Video information display system (or 'annunciator') using small TV type LCD monitors for the building occupants. This system uses a single graphics source converted to component video and then using a purpose built video distribution amplifier and standard twisted pair cable is distributed to the screens. Audio is included and the number of screens is unlimited.
  2. LCD information display system (or 'annunciator') using large (18" and above) high brightness and high viewing angle active LCD panels fitted with LCD graphics controllers. For a superior display in high profile locations. Page data information for these screens comes from a single source via standard twisted pari cabling. A purpose built data distribution amplifier means that the number of screens is unlimited and cable runs can extend to kilometers. This system also supports using three LCD panels together to form a large display. Audio is also routed to each screen in a professional balanced form.
  3. Interactive display system - identical to the LCD information display system in terms of technology and installation, the LCD panels in this case have touch screeens installed and are interactive. Users can select different menus to gain access to booking information, activity information and maps to help them find their way around the building.

All three systems can be run from a single PC, but to maintain reliability the system is designed to operate with a back up PC that can be switched into action with the flick of a switch.

You do not require graphics designers and artists to create pages and update displays to reflect changes in activity and conference room booking information. The system can be set up to use a set of template pages and accepts feeds from booking PCs (or any data feed from any system as required) and will automatically generate a page to the template standard, maintaining consistency in your display layouts and minimising running costs.
